We've all heard the nightmare stories about the cowboy builders and unscrupulous companies operating in the conservatory and glass and glazing markets. Well, at K2 we've taken measures to address this major cause for concern head on.
In conjunction with the Federation of Master Builders - one of the UK's most respected trade organisations - we have developed a unique Approved Installer Scheme designed to give you total peace of mind.
The K2 Approved Installer Scheme has been developed with one ultimate aim - to protect you, the consumer.
In order to gain a place on the scheme, participating companies have to go through a detailed and rigorous vetting process. As part of this, K2 in conjunction with the FMB check everything - from the company's trading history and terms of conduct to their levels of quality, integrity and professionalism. We even seek a number of references and subject members to random, on-the-spot inspections.
Only when we are 100% confident that they can meet and abide by the strict standards set out are these companies awarded the K2 seal of approval. A seal of approval that serves to give you total peace of mind.

Across the building and construction related industries, the Federation of Master Builders is a name that represents quality. Formed over 60 years ago and now firmly established as one of the UK's most respected trade organisations, the FMB promotes excellence - and as such, all of its 13,000 members (consisting mainly of small to medium sized building firms) agree to abide by strict codes of practice. Considering this, and the FMB's experience and standing, there was no better partner to help develop K2's Approved Installer Scheme.
It is one of the most comprehensive warranties in the home improvement sector. The peace of mind you can expect when your conservatory is installed by a K2 Approved Installer is further complemented by a steadfast, no-quibble guarantee. Underwritten by one of the UK's leading names in insurance, this covers you against any defects in craftsmanship or materials for a period of 10 years.
